SCR lighting relay differs from other mechanical relays. A mechanical
relay life span is about 30,000 cycles. Our new SCR lighting relay
can withstand more than 1 million cycles.
That is a huge difference.
In fact, by being exposed to dust, humidity, vibration and other
environmental conditions, mechanical relays can have even shorter
life spans.
Cristal's SCR light controllers are different because they are completely
sealed in epoxy blocks that protect them from all adverse environments.
