CCLS-4016 - Low Voltage Programmable DMX Lighting Controller

The CCLS-4016 is a programmable low voltage lighting controller that is compatible with DMX 512 systems. It can control either mechanical latching or electronic relays.

Four independent inputs can be assigned for relays control. Up to three relays per output can be connected for a maximum of 48 per controller.

All programming is done onboard on the controller. A communication port allows to tie in the controller to a DMX 512 compatible system (option).

Sequence of operation

There are different modes of programming/operation for which the functionalities of buttons and LEDs display have a different utility/functionality.

 

DMX lighting control option

The CCLS-4016 has an RS485 port compatible with DMX512 systems. The base DMXaddress can be set from 1 to 512. You also can manually select individually the inputs or outputs that will be controlled by the DMX interface for a total of 20 points (4 inputs + 16 outputs).

Received DMX states are treated like binary «ON» or «OFF» commands. A value below 35% (59h) is interpreted as an « OFF » state while a value higher than 65% (A5h) is interpreted as an «ON» state. Between those two values, the state is considered as «NUL» and no action is taken. Note that a 5% deadband is applied to go from the «ON» / «OFF» state to the «NUL» state; in example, if the initial state is «OFF» the state will be considered as «NUL» when it reaches 40% (66h).
