CRISTAL CONTROLS’ RELAY SCANNERS
A relay scanner allows a large group of relays to be switched by a single device or by a signal from a Bas device. A relay scanner switches a group of relays when signaled by a Standard Panasonic 2-wire switch or other type of input such as Nc or No contact.
Individual & Group Control
Relays connected to a scanner output can also be switched individually by connecting a standard Panasonic 2-wire switch directly to the relay. This feature gives the occupants control of their individual space and also allows to automatically control all the lights.
Sequential Switching
Cristal Controls’ relay scanner outputs are fired in sequences that take no longer than a few seconds. Here is the reason:
1. This feature reduces peak building peak controls on a On action for the complete lighting system.
2. It also protects the low voltage circuit from high current inrush for safety. Sequencing the relay control power also ensures that the low voltage limits are not exceeded.
Cristal Controls’ Non-Programmable Relay Scanners : CC-0112
Cristal Controls also offers non programmable relay scanners for small lighting systems. For more information, please contact us.
Cristal Controls’ CCLS-4016 Programmable Relay Scanners
Cristal Controls’ CCLS-4016 Programmable Relay Scanner has 16 outputs and 4 inputs. The inputs are configurable to respond to Panasonic 2-wire switches or to 24Vac contact control.
Each 4 inputs can easily be programmed with the buttons on the scanner to control any or all of the relay outputs. If an input is configured for the Panasonic 2-wire LED switch, the input is providing the correct group status indication to the connected switch.
Cristal Controls’ Scanners and Networks
Cristal Controls offers 2 types of network options: Lonwork’s and BACnet.
