BACnet : the open protocol of tomorrow
The BACnet communications protocol is used more and more in the building automation and lighting control industry. BACnet stands for Building Automation and Control network. It is an innovative and truly non-proprietary open protocol communication standard, which allows the integration of products conceived by various equipment manufacturers in the same project. With BACnet networking capabilities, many manufacturers can provide different control systems which can all be linked together to provide a complete building control.
BACnet networking in Cristal Controls’ lighting control systems : CCLP-BACnet Card
Cristal Controls started a development project and now offers its lighting control systems in BACnet compatible version. Cristal Controls has also developped a card with an IP or MSTP connection, presenting the BACnet lighting control systems’ characteristics.
